Halloween coffin with linear actuator
Просмотров 6 тыс.6 лет назад
I converted my pneumatic coffin prop to a linear actuator controlled prop. This lets me control the prop with electronics only and not having to have a air source which is required for a pneumatic cylinder controlled prop. This is in no way to point any negatives towards pneumatic props...I just am getting lazy in my efforts to set up my Halloween display and just don't want to spend the extra ...
Rotisserie motor for halloween props
Просмотров 43 тыс.6 лет назад
I've used rotisserie motors for my Halloween props for many years and just wanted to share their benefits and the potential for what you can do do with these great motors. I haven't seen many Halloween videos showing these motors in action, so I thought I'd show my leering skeleton which uses a rotisserie motor. I also made a breathing grave prop for this year which uses a rotisserie motor as w...
2016 Halloween Frankenstein prop
Просмотров 20 тыс.7 лет назад
This year we did a Frankenstein laboratory theme featuring a full sized pneumatic Frankenstein. The prop is controlled by a picaboo plus with 8 inch stroke cylinder. It went over great with the trick or treaters and we got many complements om the set-up. my goal was to create something more interactive for the kids, as they had to press the button to activate Frankenstein. Definitely a big hit ...
Halloween prop Jacob's Ladder
Просмотров 10 тыс.7 лет назад
This is my take on the iconic jacob's ladder. We will be featuring a Frankenstein lab attraction this year at our haunted house display and what Frankenstein lab would be complete without a jacob's ladder? Look for additional videos on our full size pneumatic Frankenstein prop! Thanks for watching and Happy Haunting! Bubble tube prop: ruclips.net/video/hZONWwqxgaU/видео.html
Halloween Bubble Tube prop
Просмотров 10 тыс.8 лет назад
This year we will be doing a Frankenstein themed attraction at our home haunt. Plans include a full size pneumatic Frankenstein prop...but more to come on that later in the year. First we have several props to make up for a laboratory, like what you would see in the old Frankenstein movies . This bubble tube prop is our first prop of the year with more to come over the next several weeks. Thank...
Using A Fog Machine Remote/timer To Control Your Props
Просмотров 16 тыс.9 лет назад
This is cheap simple way to control `you Halloween props using a fog machine wireless remote control or timer. You can pick up a fog machine wireless remote or timer at Spirit Halloween for around $15. You can make this device for around 5 dollars. All you'll need to buy is a standard computer power cable, a sort 2-prong extension cord, and 3 wire nuts. I came up with idea because I want to con...
Animated Halloween tombstone prop
Просмотров 9 тыс.9 лет назад
This a a pretty simple prop I made up using a reindeer motor, some furring strips, aluminum stock, and some one inch foam. I thought this would make for a easy prop such as a tombstone popper. Tell me what you think and Happy Haunting!!
Perfect Storm lightning effect for halloween
Просмотров 107 тыс.9 лет назад
I bought this Perfect Storm lightning controller for my 2014 Halloween display. Despite its small size and price tag, this unit has a lot of bang for the buck! I bought this unit from Frightprops.com for $30. Other lightning controllers I have found range from $130-$300. I am really happy with the unit and this should make a great addition for this year. Hope you found this clip useful and Happ...
halloween skeleton in rocking chair - part 3
Просмотров 9 тыс.10 лет назад
I still have some tweaking to do, but this close to the finished product I will display this year on Halloween. This was a challenging project, but I think it will make a great addition to this years haunt. Thanks for watching and please comment and subscribe.
Halloween Pneumatic coffin prop
Просмотров 11 тыс.10 лет назад
My version of a animated coffin prop. I built this for fairly cheap...around $100, including the Walgreen's skeleton. I built the coffin using one sheet of half inch plywood and some extra pieces of wood I had laying around. The prop uses two double acting cylinders and one three port valve. I attached springs to the cylinders to return them to their original position when the air is deactivate...
Halloween shopping

My yearly shopping trip to Mendelson's Liquidation Outlet in Dayton, Ohio. This place is a hidden gem for any Halloween prop maker or electronics guru. This place has everything from lighting fixtures to pneumatic cylinders of all shapes and sizes......a true haunter's paradise! I had a whole shopping cart full of stuff and my jaw dropped when I took it to the counter and the guy said "how abou...
Halloween skeleton in rocking chair prop - part 2
Просмотров 6 тыс.10 лет назад
Part 2 of my skeleton build. After some changes and a few blunders, my skeleton prop is starting to take shape. A couple minor tweaks and I should be done. Part 3 is coming soon. Some of my blunders: -Didn't buy the 12 volt power pack for the wiper motor from fightprops. Big mistake! My attempts to save a few bucks cost me a fried wiper motor. Learn from my mistake...buy the power pack from fig...
Halloween skeleton in rocking chair prop - part 1
Просмотров 14 тыс.10 лет назад
This is my version of a Skeleton in a rocking chair with talking picoboo controller. I went through many different versions of this build before I ended up with the final prop. Figured I'd share this to help some people avoid some of the mistakes I made during the build. This was by far the hardest build I've done to date. I went through some blood, sweat, and tears when trying different ideas ...
DIY - halloween stanchions or chain fencing
Просмотров 6 тыс.10 лет назад
This is actually my first Halloween related video that I've posted. I've been watching all the great tutorials on RUclips and thought I'd share a simple idea I had for creating cheap fencing for my Halloween haunt. This is our second year and I plan on expanding the haunt quite a bit. Unfortunately, I have already spent quite a bit of money on this years haunt, so money is a little tight. Thoug...

Got some good ideas off this. One of the things I did differently was instead of doing the bolt/nut attachment for skull to cap deal, I attached them using plastic pom rivets via a hand riveter. No need to cut out the back of the skull

What's the difference between rotisserie and reindeer motor?? Torque??? As the speed seems about the same. I am the Australian distributor for reindeer motors. And have a variety of different speeds and shaft attachment options.

Set up is great! Next time I suggest putting the light in the tree, and if you can, get the speakers at 6-8ft off the ground as well. Keep in mind, I haven't done this with the MPS, but I've done it with other light sources and sounds. It improves the effect dramatically.

Many thanks and respect from 🇿🇦 I imagine that instead of the piece of two by four, I can use Bakelite instead. Thanks once again!

nice work. specially for the glass vase. if you can make a hole in it, do air can flow, and leave it on for a few hours with doors and windows closed, ozone that it generates disinfects the room. open windows for clean air to replace the poison before using the room again.

Have it drive about three 100-watt-equivalent , 1500 lumens each or better, led bulbs that emit 4000 deg Kelvin or higher color temperature, (all of that info is on the box .. Walmart has ‘em) which is a very intense blue-white light with lots of UV, PLUS a fluorescent tube or led driven blacklight bulb or bar. It will look more like lightning than lightning. A single incandescent bulb just can’t come close. Run the thunder through as big of a subwoofer as you can find. Have some kid with one of those ground-shaking hip hop subwoofer set-ups park in front of your house and Bluetooth to his stereo.

    • @OhioHaunter
      @OhioHaunter 4 года назад

Tiffy T-Rex you might be able to find a variety of linear actuators online, but this would not be something you’d be able to find at the hardware store. You’d also need some kind of controller. I just like frightprops because of the quality of their products, and their prices are very fair.
